Description

Ignite Texas, established in 2002, is a four-day retreat that connects incoming UT and ACC freshmen and transfer students to Christian community at The University of Texas and throughout Austin. This retreat provides students with friends and community before arriving to campus and also gives them the tools they need to seek spiritual growth during their time in Austin.

Contribution

Executed a holistic website redesign for Ignite Texas using Squarespace’s Developer Platform. Achieved custom design by writing CSS and JavaScript to target HTML generated by Squarespace’s CMS website builder. Employed an iterative process that involved user research, rapid prototyping, and frequent usability tests for feedback and validation. Took ownership of seeing the redesign through from ideation to launch

Description

Inksaver is South Africa’s leading online printer cartridge store. They stock a wide variety of printer consumables for virtually every major printer brand, including but not limited to high quality toner cartridges and printer ink.

Contribution

Translated high-fidelity design mockups in Zeplin into responsive webpages. Wrote custom Sass and HTML to target and build off of starter HTML templates provided. Collaborated with UX/UI designers throughout the development process.

Description

A responsive weather application that provides weather information for the current day and week at the input location.

Contribution

Description

An internal company dashboard that tracks a number of productivity metrics and project management items. The vision and functionality of this dashboard ideally fits within the business of a design agency.

Contribution

Converted design assets in Zeplin into functional, responsive webpages. Built from the ground up using HTML, Sass, and JavaScript. Collaborated with Lead UI Designer throughout the development process.

Description

Jimmy McNeal is a worship pastor and gospel artist that leads with his band at his local church as well as events around the nation. Jimmy's energy and passion for God is contagious, and his powerful voice complements his vibrant personality – both on and off stage. This project is a personal endeavor to enhance the overall UX of Jimmy's current artist website by providing a complete redesign.

Contribution

Critiqued existing website and created design mockups in Sketch to visually conceptualize new page designs. Exported mockups to Zeplin and implemented designs using HTML, Sass, and JavaScript.

Description

This is a generic landing page for an online course or program. The design was found via the internet and chosen for its unique, modern aesthetic.

Contribution

Translated mockup into a responsive webpage after exporting Sketch design to Zeplin. Focused primarily on accuracy of translation (with personal discretion on design choices), writing clean code, and more effective usage of Sass. Built using HTML, Sass, and JavaScript.

Description

A responsive travel application that provides the user with photos, live weather information, a searchable map, and local activities and restaurants based on the searched destination. A one-stop resource for aggregating relevant information pertaining to travel destinations.

Contribution

Developed with ReactJS, using APIs from Yelp, Google, Unsplash, Dark Sky, and Giphy. Designed the look and feel of the application.

Note: Yelp's Fusion API only supports these regions, therefore locations outside of those supported will not include local activities and restaurants.
